step 1: click on start button search for command prompt and run as administrator
step 2(optional): enter the following and press enter : netsh wlan show networks this pops out list of available networks
step 3:since you are connected to the network you want to retrieve the password type the following to get your network security key: netsh wlan show profile "name of the network" key=clear
ignore the quotes in the network name .
thats it this should show you the password of your wireless network
